Topics are:
Counterfeit Gospels taught by Burt Boykin
We live in a culture where almost anything passes for being "Christian", when nearly any group using the name "Jesus" is called a "church," and when practically any message is called the "gospel."  How are we to discern what is real and what is counterfeit?  As is it with any counterfeit, the best defense is to know the real thing.  So join us as we dig into the depths of the Gospel and examine several false, counterfeit, and imitation Gospels.  This group is for both men and women.

In addition to studying the theology of the book, we'll focus on the literary style and other elements of the gospel.  This group is for both men and women.

Grace for the Good Girl facilitated by Virginia Tillery
"In Grace for the Good Girl, Emily Freeman invites women to let go of the try-hard life and realize that in Christ we are free to receive from im rather than constantly try to achieve for him.  With an open hand and a whimsical style, Emily uncovers the truth about the hiding, encouraging women to move from hiding behind girl-made masks and do-good performances to a life hidden with Christ in God."  This class is for women only.  Books will be ordered after the first class.

Prayer needs:
  • Pray for the Leeds Church plant as they meet on a monthly basis.
  • The Morgans:  Pray for gospel interactions with unbelievers in Ireland.
  • Dane Boykin:  Pray also for Dane and Brinkley as Dane raises support to minister in the Leeds area.
  • Pregnant Moms:  Hannah Grace Burnett, Ginger Donahoo, Lauren Webber, Michelle Davis and Rachel Dickinson
  • Pray for obedience in tithes and offerings.
  • Pray for churches in the area as we partner to proclaim the Gospel.
  • Continue to pray for the Trace and Ginger Donahoo as they work in England.
  • Continue to pray for Scott and Dana Jennings as they minister to the homeless and those with substance abuse issues in England.
  • Pray for Jordan Clayton and Brendan Poston as they serve in the Marines.  
  • Praise God that Bob Parks' surgery showed no cancer.  Please continue to pray for Robert Parks, Jr. as he continues with chemotherapy.
