Women have a unique, God-given ability to serve God and others. Our purpose as a ministry is to glorify and enjoy God, that is why we exist.
What we want to accomplish as a ministry is to reach out to the women of this church and the community to unify and to equip them to enjoy God's grace and to understand the joy of being daughters of the covenant so that we might make an impact on our community and the world for the glory of Christ.
We seek to involve all the women of the church in the corporate study of Scripture, prayer and fellowship. Within our families, we seek to equip women for participation in ministry and leadership by the faithful teaching of Scripture, instruction in sound doctrine, praying for them and with them, and drawing them into deep, accountable friendships with other women, some in the context of spiritual mothering. We are committed to building a safe environment where all women feel valued and loved, thus giving them the freedom to live repentantly and transparently before one another.
As women, God has specially gifted us toward gifts of empathy, mercy and hospitality. We seek to use these gifts out of gratitude to our Savior to reach out to those in need, both inside and outside our church family.
There is much new activity with our Women's Ministry here at Community and we'd love for you to be a part of it! If you have any questions please call the church office (640-5698) for more information. We would love to have you join us!

Wednesdays this Summer Starting June 5th, women of CPC are invited to share in a summer study Making Room: A Study of Biblical Hospitality. We’ll be meeting in the women’s ministry room at 6pm. We will also be discovering old and new ways to reach out to each other, our church, and our surrounding communities. We hope to see you there!
Biblical hospitality is about more than sharing a meal or inviting friends over. It is the work of making room in our lives for others. True hospitality is a posture of charity toward the poor, of welcome toward the displaced, and of humility and gentleness toward the hurting. In this two-week study, we will see what Scripture has to say about making room for others—our neighbors, the poor, our betrayers, strangers, widows, orphans, children, and more. As we do, we will find ourselves reflected among them. For while we were still sinners, Christ made room for us.
Wednesday, June 5th - Day One: Making Room for Others
Wednesday, June 12th - Day Ten: Making Room for Children
