Plan Your Visit

We’d love to have you join us this Sunday. Here’s a simple guide to help you know what to expect when you arrive.

Worship at CPC

We Gather

We are called into God’s presence through Scripture, prayer, and song, preparing our hearts for worship.

We Hear

We hear God’s Word read and preached and respond together in prayer and confession of faith.

We Respond

We confess our sin, receive the assurance of pardon in Christ, and respond in praise, giving, and song as we are sent out with God’s blessing.

Worship at Community Presbyterian Church is thoroughly God-centered; He is the starting and ending point of all that we do in worship.

Our goal in worship is to exalt our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through the preaching of God’s Word, the faithful administration of the sacraments, corporate prayer, and congregational singing.

Our services draw from the richness of historic Christian worship, including hymns, creeds, and prayers, while also seeking to engage thoughtfully with our present context. Worship is both celebratory and reflective as we rejoice in what Christ has done and humbly come before God, recognizing His holiness, our need for His grace, and the gracious gift He has provided in Christ.

We celebrate the sacrament of the Lord's Supper on the first Sunday of every month.

At Community Presbyterian Church, you will find people in many different places in their faith—some who have followed Christ for many years, some who are just beginning, and others who are still exploring what they believe. Wherever you are, you are welcome here.

Our life together is centered on the gospel of Jesus Christ. We gather for worship, grow as disciples through God’s Word, and seek to live out our faith in community as we serve others in Christ’s name.

What to Expect on Sundays

Here are a few things to help you know what to expect when you join us on a Sunday morning.

  • We are a casual church, so come as you are. You’ll see a range of attire, including jeans and more traditional dress.

  • Our worship service is held in our sanctuary located in the building on the left side of the street.

When you come to our doors, our greeters will be there to welcome you with a smile, give you a bulletin, and direct you to the sanctuary.

Members and guests visit in the foyer area before entering the sanctuary for worship.

Once you enter the sanctuary, feel free to sit wherever you’d like in our three sections of seating. If you need assistance, our deacons/ushers are there to help you.

  • Nursery is available during Sunday School and worship for children from birth through age 2/early 3. Children are also always welcome in the service!

If you ever need to step out with your child, our deacons in the foyer can direct you to a place where you can get some quiet time.

Note: We are not currently offering children’s worship during the sermon for ages 3-5 at this time but plan to make it available beginning in August 2026.

  • As a guest, please don’t feel any obligation to participate in the offering.

  • Yes, Sunday School is available for all ages before worship in our activities buildings across the street. Our greeters will be happy to help you find the right class!

  • We celebrate the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of each month.
