Community Church gathers for worship at 9:30 am followed by Sunday school at 11:00 am
Our goal in worship is to exalt our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through the preaching of God's Word, the faithful administration of the sacraments (baptism and the Lord's Supper), corporate prayer, faithful stewardship, and inspiring music. Though we will embrace many of the beautiful historic elements that followers of Christ have enjoyed for generations (hymns, creeds, prayers, etc.) we also seek to worship in a culturally relevant manner.
We believe worship should be both celebrative and reflective; excited about the fact that we who were once dead in our sins have been made alive in Christ, yet simultaneously humbled by the fact that we are sinners in the presence of a holy God. Worship must be thoroughly God-centered ... He is the starting and ending point of all we do in worship.
We celebrate the Lord's Supper on the first Sunday of every month.
